“Shouldn’t start for any Top Team” Pundit blast two Chelsea star for Awful FACup display

Football Martin Keown criticised Chelsea Stars Disasi and Raheem Sterling for their shameful display against Champioship side Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter final clash.

He blast Raheem Sterling for โ€˜pulling rankโ€™ on Cole Palmer during Chelseaโ€™s 4-2 win over Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Sterling took the ball off Palmer in the first half but saw his tame penalty saved, while after the break, the Chelsea winger again took charge of a close-range free kick but fired his effort high and wide into the stand.

Sterling was totally off today and was booed by Chelsea supporters after missing his free kick and was then replaced by Noni Madueke as Pochettinoโ€™s side looked to score a late winner after Leicester pulled the game back from two goals down.

Axel Disasi was also a shadow of himself after a silky display, the France defender scored an own goal to gift Leicester City a goal back in the 57mins.

Meanwhile, Chelseaโ€™s private equity owners are essentially subjecting the squad to an unseen experiment in modern football recruitment but all it seems to have done for the moment is to return the club to something like the mid-1990s. They are erratic cup specialists, who look like they have potential but so many issues.

This 4-2 FA Cup win over Leicester City put them into their second domestic semi-final of the season. The game was raucous and hugely entertaining, but there were spells when the crowd was raging at Mauricio Pochettino for some weak decisions in the second half, especially subbing off Mudryk while Sterling is on the pitch.
