According to reports Chelsea held talks with Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier after missing out on French winger, Michael Olise.
The Crystal Palace star has picked Bayern Munich over the Blues, who pulled out of the race after failing to agree personal terms with the player.
Meanwhile, sources told Footyvaild that the Chelsea chiefs are currently in talks for Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier for a possible Stamford Bridge move this summer.
The blues are said to be in the market for a young striker, so one would expect the club to get linked with just about any and all remotely available goalscorer out there.
Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier, who had himself a breakout season in the Bundesliga, recently made his international debut for Germany, and was also selected for their squad to Euro 2024.
The 22-Year-Old German striker scored 16 times in 33 games, doubling his previous career high (in the second division!) and finishing fifth on the BuLi goalscoring charts.
His goals helped Hoffenheim finish seventh in the league and qualify for next yearโs Europa League as well.
