The new Chelsea boss is keen to bring out the best in Nicolas Jackson as the side sets to begin training ahead of the new season.
While everyone is waiting for the break to be over, Chelseaโs new boss, Enzo Maresca, is already working on how to bring out the best from the squad he has available at his new Chelsea job.
One of the players who has raised so many eyebrows is the sideโs attacker, Nicolas Jackson, who has struggled to stay consistent since joining the Blues.
Jackson joined the West Londoners from the Spanish side Villarreal and, in his first season in the Premier League, scored 14 goals in 35 games.
Although many are calling for his replacement while others are asking for patience with the attacker, Chelseaโs new manager, Enzo Maresca, appears to be one of the few who believes Jackson can be the right number 9 they need for the new project.
According to sources close to Maresca, the former Leicester City boss is already devising means to get the best out of Jackson, which includes providing him with more support on the pitch.
Itโs also understood that Maresca is open to trying out the attacker on the flanks if he continues to struggle up front. Apparently, Jackson is going to be a major part of the Enzo project.

Chelsea have been linked to several number 9s, including Nigerian Victor Osimhen, but so far nothing concrete has been established. However, this doesnโt eliminate the possibility of them landing competition for Jackson before the close of the summer window.
