Chelsea left-back has shared that his new club manager has already reached out to him via text message while he’s away representing his country
Cucurella was asked what his Chelsea’s future look exciting under New coach, Enzo Maresca and whether the new head coach has been in touch with him.
“Yes, he texted me a couple of days ago. The feelings were good, it all looked exciting, so I am looking forward to it… Cucurella responded…
“Some people from Chelsea reached me too during the Euros. I’ve sensed that our team-mates are very happy too.” he added
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s first team absentees also include Enzo Fernandez as he prepares for the Copa America final with Argentina couple with Cole Palmer and Gallagher who will be representing England in the Euro championship Finals.
Meanwhile, during an interview with a German outfit, Marc Cucurella admitted that he’ll be happier if Palmer is on the England bench this weekend.
The Spanish full-back has been enjoying a really good Euro 2024 campaign with Spain, helping them get all the way to the final. Cucurella’s agent, Aleix Pique, recently hinted that his client’s long-term future remains at Chelsea and stated:
“Cucurella is very comfortable and happy at Chelsea and in London His idea is to stay at the club. Under normal circumstances, he will continue there.”
