Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has been speaking about Cole Palmer after his impact at Euro 2024 and in the Premier League last season.
Cole Palmer did not start one game for England at the Euros but still managed to make things happen in Germany.
It was the Chelsea attacker who scored the Three Lions’ goal in their 2-1 defeat to Spain in the final.
At club level, Palmer was also fantastic. In 33 Premier League outings for Chelsea, he scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists.
The ivorian Legend has been quick to praise Palmer when asked…, hailing him as the “outstanding player” for Chelsea last season.
And compared to others, legendary Didier Drogba thinks the Englishman just has so much more confidence.

“The thing about Palmer that’s different from most players I have seen is he has got a real confidence and not in a bad way. He is so sure about what he’s doing…
He has gone to Chelsea and it’s like a breeze.
“He has just come in, he has settled in, he has played great football from day one, he has been Chelsea’s outstanding player of the season. He has done everything.”
