Chelsea’s new manager, Enzo Maresca’s reign at Chelsea has commenced with a surprise 2-2 draw in a pre-season friendly against Wrexham in California.

Chelsea would get the draw that their perseverance merited in the closing stages, Lesley Ugochukwu calmly finding the bottom corner from inside the penalty area, to ensure that the Blues avoided defeat in the first of five contests across the pond
Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca was kind of unhappy with his team’s display in the second half.
Maresca admits the Blues will continue to concede goals due to playing out from the back this season.
The Italian expects his style will ensure the Blues concede more goals in such a manner.
“The first goal is not from playing out from the back. The second, yes.
“But the first came from one bounce, we lose a duel and then we concede the goal.
For sure, we are going to concede goals this season playing out from the back.
Nevertheless, the blues will be looking to win their first game under Enzo Maresca as they host Celtic on Saturday
