It’s been a surprising week for the Chelsea fanbase as yet another starlet is been dropped from Enzo Maresca’s team.
Chelsea’s and Serbia Goalkeeper, Djordje Petrovic is one of the few players who did not travel to the United States alongside Tevoh Chalobah which came as a surprise to supporters of the club.
At present, Spanish Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has been promoted to the role of Chelseaโs starting goalkeeper for Enzo Maresca, filling in for Petrovic, who is suggested to be sidelined with an injury.

Reports earlier this week suggested that the Blues are also looking to offload the Serbian this summer despite only signing him at the start of last season from MLS side.
As it’s stands, the blues are reportedly on the verge of finalising a deal to acquire Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen as a potential replacement for Djordje Petrovic.
Jorgensen, recognised for his ability with the ball at his feet, has attracted the attention of the Blues.
