It’s been a wild transfer window so far around Stamford Bridge, with plenty of incomings and outgoings. There’s still 10 days left for the Blues to conduct more business, too.
The Blues has added yet another attacking threat to new manager Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea team.
Chelsea have resigned Portuguese João Felix and he’s expected to put pen to paper on a six-year contract which will see the 24-year-old stay with the club until 2030.
Moreover, Chelsea are working on a deal for Victor Osimhen who is heavily linked with a move away from Italy this summer and Chelsea remains the only club keen on signing the Nigerian striker.
Chelsea wants a loan deal for the African best player, though Napoli and Osimhen are still contemplating wether or not to strike a deal.
Victor Osimhen and Napoli are likely to explore alternative options first. A loan to Chelsea remains a possibility, and the blues are prepared to keep that door open until the end of the window in case he has a change of heart.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have just been linked with a potential move to sign a Premier League striker and Brentford’s striker Ivan Toney is been lineup.
According to reports, Chelsea could be tempted to make a ‘late swoop’ for Brentford’s Ivan Toney this summer.
It is explained that Brentford want to get the 28-year-old sold this week after leaving him out of their squad for the opening weekend of the Premier League.
Apparently, they valued him at £70m at the start of the transfer window, but that price tag has lowered by £25m because they’d now accept around £45m for his sale.
The report states that Chelsea are the only Premier League side that remain in the hunt for the centre-forward, and the player himself would prefer to stay in England if possible.
