Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea firesale handed boost as starlet lined up for unlikely transfer to a Premier League club after a failed loan at Real Madrid.

Chelsea are set to allow goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to leave the club this summer and complete a loan move to Premier League rivals AFC Bournemouth as Enzo Maresa continues to trim the fat around his huge Blues squad.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was not allowed to train with the rest of the Chelsea’s first team despite reporting for the start of pre-season.

Clubs in the Saudi Pro League expressed an interest in Kepa, but he is expected to join Bournemouth on loan, despite Chelsea’s desire to offload him on a permanent deal.

The Londoners has already splashed £20 million on bringing shot-stopper Filip Jorgensen to Stamford Bridge from Villarreal this summer.

Moreover, the 22-year-old has been on the bench for both Premier League outings so far this season with Spaniard Robert Sanchez holding down the number one spot.

Arrizabalaga remains the most expensive goalkeeper in history, after Chelsea paid Athletico Bilbao £71.6million in 2018.

Meanwhile, according to Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano

“Understand Bournemouth are closing in on [a] deal to sign Kepa from Chelsea!

“If all good later today, Kepa will travel for medical tests.”
