Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s London derby against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, after Eberechi Eze’s second-half curler canceled out Nicolas Jackson’s strike.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner praised the performance of Chelsea starman Cole Palmer after running shows for the blues though they were left without a win.
Glasner speaking to Sky Sports:
“Congrats to the team for the performance in the both halfs but particularly you’ve got to commend players like Cole Palmer.
“He’s is dealing with straight bums and still pulling the strings… He added.
Every coach would wish to have him play for their team
Cole Palmer has been an an incredible upwards trajectory ever since he joined the Blues in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City in a deal worth £42.5m.
Meanwhile Blues are now 11th in the table, sitting on one win, one draw and one loss and Crystal Palace on one point heading into the first international break of the season – with Enzo Maresca’s side next in action away at Bournemouth.
