Manchester United Next “MANAGER” Has Been Revealed As Talks Reach Final Stages

1 min read

Manchester United have reportedly got their sights set on nabbing former Chelsea and PSG manager Thomas Tuchel as a potential replacement for the current gaffer, Erik ten Hag.

Tuchel’s been in the Red Devils’ crosshairs since summer when they mulled over giving Ten Hag the boot, and now with Tuchel kicking his heels after leaving Bayern Munich, United could turn to the German.

Footyvalid understands that the Red Devils are lining up former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel to replace Ten Hag in the event that the Dutchman is fired.

Club officials are due to meet in London on Tuesday amid United’s woeful start to the season and on the agenda will be Ten Hag’s future.

The former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss Tuchel has been out of work since leaving the latter at the end of last season.

He took Bayern to the Champions League semi-finals last term, but missed out on the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen.

The German gaffer was sounded out by United’s hierarchy over the summer as they explored the possibility of replacing Ten Hag.

Instead, though, they backed the Dutchman and handed him a contract extension before the start of the new season.

Moreover, it’s said that Thomas Tuchel’s ability to take over immediately makes him an appealing candidate. United’s higher-ups are said to also be interested in other unnamed candidates who are currently in jobs elsewhere.
