“We’d Won If They Played For Us” Ange Postecoglou Names Chelsea Weapon Against Spurs

1 min read

Tottenham Manager, Ange Postecoglou was really impressed with one Chelsea player after his performance against Tottenham Hotspur.

It was not a good start for Enzo Maresca‘s men after they quickly found themselves 2-0 down in the first half.

However, Jadon Sancho got Chelsea back into the game with a beautiful goal before Cole Palmer eventually equalised for his side before Enzo scored an outstanding volley to make give the blues the lead and Palmer wrapped it up from the penalty box for the second time.

Meanwhile, at full time Ange Postecoglou praised Chelsea starts like Enzo Fernandez, Lavia and Cole Palmer. But praised Enzo specially by saying…

“To watch this guy play football is an absolute joy. There’s not many like him. He’s just so cool, so calm on the ball. The things he does, he makes the game look so easy… Ange Postecoglou about Enzo Fernandez.

The Spurs Manager also talked about Cole Palmer’s panenka penalty….

“The Panenka penalty. The little bits and pieces he does when he gets it. Everything goes into slow motion when he gets it.” Ange Postecoglou says

By the way, the blues have exceeded expectations under manager Enzo Maresca. They are currently regarded as the main challengers to Arne Slot’s side.

Maresca has frequently dismissed a title charge for the Blues, but the club can’t be ignored if they keep on winning heading into next year.
