50-year-old Agrees Terms To Be Man United New Manager Next Season

Close sources claims that Manchester United owner Sir Ratcliffe has already made contact with Tuchel, “who he values enormously”, about his plans for the 2024/25 season, should Ten Hag be dismissed.

However, the reports stated that the Dutchman will remain in position for United’s final seven games of the season, and only after that will a decision be made on his future.

According to reports in Germany though, Tuchel could be on his way back to England and more specifically Old Trafford as new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe draws up plans for life after Ten Hag, who saw his tenure with the Reds stoop to a new low on Sunday afternoon as United required a penalty shootout to defeat Championship Coventry City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup – despite being 3-0 up in the 70th minute.

The ex Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has already agreed Manchester United approach and he’s keen on a move.

Tuchel already enjoyed a little over 18 months at Chelsea before he was sacked by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital in September 2022 following a limp start to the 2022/23 season.

The 50-year-old has since returned to the dugout, taking over Bayern Munich last March after Julian Nagelsmann was sacked.
