Former Chelsea and Paris Saint German coach Thomas Tuchel is been strongly linked with a return to England to join Manchester United under the new ownership of Sir Ratcliffe.

The German gaffer is set to exit from his managerial role at Bayern Munich this summer and man United new owner Sir Ratcliffe has approached Thomas tuchel as a possible replacement from under fire Erik Ten Hag.

Meanwhile the German coach Thomas Tuchel has previously said he does not want to become a ‘project manager’ as he is linked with a shock return to England.

It is something that should resonate with Sir Jim Ratcliffe as he carries out a club-wide assessment of Manchester United, including their own head coach Erik ten Hag.

The 50-Year-Old German Coach inspired Chelsea to a Champions League triumph over Manchester City as well as a Premier League top-four finish.

Though it all ended in tears for Tuchel and Chelsea a little over a year later, in part due to Tuchel’s reluctance – or ‘zero ambition’, in his own words – to play a bigger role in the recruitment process following the exits of club director Marina Granovskaia and technical advisor Petr Cech after Todd Boehly’s takeover of the club.
