Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in his press conference today confirmed that Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are among players who will be unavailable to play again this season.
The French duo are nearing their contract expiries but will likely have the opportunity to represent the club again as part of a handful of injury boosts
However, Erik Ten Hag has assured United Fans that while there has been no progress in contract negotiations between the Club and the players, Varane is expected to be available to select before the end of the season.
He also confirmed Martial is on course to be available in the coming weeks as one of three long-term absentees making comebacks.
Meanwhile Varane and Martial leaving on a free this summer will free up around a whooping £450,000-a-week in wages.
Though, Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Eriksen & Maguire are all out of contract in 2025 and could leave if suitable bids are made.
Manchester United are also willing to listen to offers for Casemiro, Sancho, van de Beek and Greenwood if the right bids are made.
