Man United Prepares Huge Bid To sign Andre Onana’s Replacement Aimed Poor Form at Old Trafford

Manchester United are reportedly considering replacing Andre Onana with Real Sociedad star goalkeeper Alex Remiro.

United chiefs are believed to be considering a change in goal only a year after acquiring Onana from Inter Milan in a ยฃ43million transfer

Spanish outlet Marcus reported that at Old Trafford, the club are already fed up with Onana lack of improvement and this sees Real Sociedadโ€™s Alex Remiro linked with a move to the Premier League.

The Cameronian Erik ten Hag signing, Onana has conceded a staggering 55 goals in 35 Premier League appearances.

The 28-year-old was widely criticised following Unitedโ€™s 4-0 defeat by Crystal Palace, and he was considered at fault for at least two goals

United would reportedly attempt to negotiate down that figure if they try to sign Remiro in the summer. But La Real are unlikely to budge on their asking price, with the starโ€™s clean sheet record and recent inclusion in Spain squads justifying the eye-watering fee.

The Red Devils are said to like the idea of signing the 29-year-old who has kept 13 clean sheets in La Liga this season.

The sticking point however does come in his price tag, which is set at a whopping ยฃ60m, as he has a release clause set for that value.
