Ex Chelsea Midfielder Cesc Fàbregas has commended Chelsea player after his excellent display against Bournemouth in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory to secure an European football spot.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side secured sixth in the league table with a win on the final day, which means European football will definitely return to west London next season.

Incidentally, it’s the Europa League for the Blues if Manchester City win the FA Cup final, but it’s the Europa Conference League if Manchester United win the final at Wembley Stadium.

Meanwhile, Cesc Fàbregas has showered praises on Chelsea star man Raheem Sterling who scored a vital goal for the blues.

The English winger scored what turned out to be the winning goal early in the second-half for Chelsea.

It’s not been the smoothest of rides this year for the 29-year-old winger, even losing his starting position at times. He does finish the campaign with 10 goals and nine assists across all competitions, though.

He was recalled to the starting line-up against Bournemouth and rewarded his manager with a left-footed goal inside the box from a tight angle.
