Erik Ten Hag has been handed a fresh injury blow as player picked up yet another injury during recovery.

The Red Devils face a crunch week with two away trips that could either ease the pressure on manager Erik ten Hag with victories or make his position increasingly precarious with defeats.

Erik Ten Hag team are expected to be without Mason Mount, Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and of course Luke shaw who recently picked up fresh knock while recovering.

Luke Shaw is yet to have featured this season after making his return from a muscle injury during England’s run to the Euro 2024 final before suffering a set-back.

Last week, Ten Hag suggested the left-back could be ruled out of action until after the October international break.

“I think it’s probably (before the break) but I can’t say I’m 100 per cent sure,” he revealed.

“The plan is just to be back before but as I say I can’t say this 100 per cent for sure. It can also be shortly after the break.”

Moreover, sources revealed to Footyvalid reporters that the England’s Leftback is expected to be put for the next 6-8 weeks of action
