Another Manchester United’s Star Is Pushing To Leave The Club After Erik Ten Hag’s Decision

2 min read

According to reports, another Manchester United’s Starlet has agreed to leave the club this summer after meeting with Erik Ten Hag.

The Red Devils have already saw major exits, including Scott McTominay, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jadon Sancho, and Mason Greenwood – Now a possiblity of Anthony could be next in line

According to reports Brazilian winger Antony has changed his mind regarding his status at the club and is pushing to leave on loan before the Turkish transfer window closes.

The report further states that Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are the current front runners for the 24-year-old, while Ajax, clubs in Spain, France, and Saudi Arabia, are monitoring his situation.

Antony has reportedly told the club he wants to leave after Ten Hag chose to reduce his playing time. Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho have outperformed the winger since his arrival in 2022.

Antony signed for the club for around £85 million from Ajax during the same window Ten Hag first took charge of the club but has failed to live up to expectations.

The Turkish transfer window is open until Friday, but any permanent exit would likely occur in 2025 rather than in the next few days.

Should Antony feel that he has no future at Old Trafford, a loan move may be the best option for all parties.

It would allow him to get game time and show off his abilities, while United would be able to prepare for a future without him.

Moreover, the United’s flop Antony has been linked with a January transfer move to a Premier League rival if he fails to move to Turkey this summer

It’s said that Newcastle United have been looking to sign an ‘exciting winger’ for some time. The report states they are keen on recruiting Nottingham Forest wideman Anthony Elanga. However, if that falls through, they could try to sign the United man.
