Chelsea Agrees To Trigger A Whooping £45M Release Clause Of Another Brazilian Sensation

Todd Boehly and Chelsea chiefs are confident of securing the signing of Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao, according to a report.

The Blues are long-time admirers of the 17-year-old and have been scouting him since at least late last year, according to Fabrizio Romano.

According to the report, Chelsea are confident of securing Estevao’s signature, with the player slated to arrive after turning 18 years in July 2025.

The blues are officially in talks over a deal, though it seems a formal offer has still not been tabled. Sources also told FOOTY VALID that Chelsea have a scout based in Brazil who has followed the winger closely, while other club representatives have travelled to Brazil to watch him play and lay the groundwork

It is claimed that Palmeiras are willing to accept a fee of €30M upfront plus significant bonus payments based on the youngster’s future performances, similar to how they structured their Endrick deal with Real Madrid.

The youngster won an array of trophies with Palmeiras at youth level and has now made 14 senior appearances.

If Willian Estevao does leave then the deal could be similar to the one that will see Endrick join Real Madrid when he turns 18 in July.
