Chelsea Leads Race To Sign Seria A Goal Machine

Chelsea board alongside Mauricio Pochettino have made a decision about signing a new striker in the summer window.

The Nigeria star has already admitted that he is leaving Napoli this summer, the Italian champions have also confirmed that he will be getting sold in the summer but on the conditions that the interested clubs will meet the release clause in his contract.

Chelsea board knows that they must stay within those financial fair play regulations and will not be looking to splash the cash just like they have been over the past few windows, it’s said that the blues can only spend £77M on the Nigerian Star Man.

Ex Chelsea and Nigeria Midfielder John Mikel Obi is arguably the one pushing for the signing of his fellow country man. The 2012 Champions League winner disclosed in an interview that he’s firmly behind the Victor Osimhen’s wave to Chelsea.

Mikel also claimed that Osimhen has the potential to become a legend at Stamford if he decides to make the move to London just like Legendary Didier Drogba.

‘I am pushing him, I hope he comes to the club. I think one thing we lack, I think everyone who watch the [Carabao Cup] final on Sunday will see that one thing we are lacking is scoring goals. We need that striker who will score goals.

‘And that’s what Victor will give you. He’s not the most skilful guy, but goals are definitely guaranteed.

‘If he could get us 20 plus a season, 25, who knows, that’s what Erling Haaland does, that’s why he’s one of the best, he’s not really there for link-ups and all that, get the ball in the box and he will finish. That’s something Victor will definitely give us.

‘Let’s hope it works out and he comes to Chelsea and becomes a legend.’
