Chelsea hunt week continues as Club Chiefs narrowed down their shortlist of potential managers to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
The blues initially have Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna, Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca, Brentford’s Thomas Frank and former Brighton & Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi on the managerial list.
However, Kieran McKenna now looks to be completely out of the running for the Chelsea job, former Brighton’s manager Roberto De Zerbi also isn’t been considered by Chelsea as a good replacement for Maurico Pochettino.
As it stands now Chelsea have only Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca and of course Brentford’s Thomas Frank who is currently reluctant for the Chelsea Job.
This makes Enzo Maresca to be the current favorite and leading candidate for the Chelsea Job. And the Chelsea owners are on the line to make an appointment within the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, Footyvaild sources have refused to rule out a possible De Zerbi appointment, it’s said the Chelsea Co Owner, Behdad Eghbali is a huge fan and could consider given him the job — But at for now no progressive talks between the two parties.
The Italian Tactician guided Brighton to sixth place last season while having his Brighton side play some beautiful stuff.
