Cole Palmers unbelievable debut season at Chelsea continued on Sunday as he equalled yet more records during the 5-0 thrashing against London counterparts West Ham.

The Ex City starboy opened the scoring at Stamford Bridge after just 15 minutes before Conor Gallagher and Noni Madueke also found the back of the net before half-time, then Senegalese Nicolas Jackson bagged a brace after the break to finish up the game for Chelsea as they look to qualify for Europe.

Despite being a critical season for the blues after spending over ยฃ1B last summer, Cole Palmer has been the shining light for Chelsea, with his many goals and assists often carrying Mauricio Pochettinoโ€™s side.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer goal against West Ham was his 21st in the Premier League and combined with nine assists he has now become only the second player to record 30 goal contributions in their debut season for the Blues after who Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who managed 32 (23 goals and nine assists) in the 2000/01 Premier League campaign.

Though there’s three games still remaining for the Englishman Palmer could as well break this long-standing record.

The English 21-year-old sensation has also matched the record to score 16 home goals for the blues joining the heroics of Chelseaโ€™s two greatest ever goalscorers of the modern era Legendary Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba who did it in 2006/07 and 2009/10 respectively
