Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has offered some valuable advice to new manager Enzo Maresca on how to bring out the best in Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Ukrainian winger has shown glimpses of brilliance but is yet to fully deliver on his potential since his big-money move to Stamford Bridge.
In an interview, Hazard expressed his belief in Mudryk’s talent and pointed out how Maresca could maximize the young star’s abilities.

“Mudryk has incredible speed and technical skill. What he needs is confidence and the freedom to express himself. I think Maresca can bring that out in him if he gives him the right environment,” Hazard stated.
Drawing from his own experience as a winger at Chelsea, Hazard emphasized the importance of a manager understanding the nuances of a player’s style.
“I always felt at my best when I had the trust of my manager and the freedom to play my natural game. Mudryk is the type of player who thrives when he’s not overthinking, just playing instinctively. Maresca should let him play with freedom and creativity, just like I did.”
Hazard also advised Maresca to be patient as Mudryk adapts to the Premier League’s demands. “When you’re young and new to a league like the Premier League, it takes time to find your rhythm. But with the right guidance and confidence, Mudryk can be one of the top wingers in the world. Maresca should be patient and help him grow without putting too much pressure on him.”
