England’s Manager Makes Bold Noni Madueke’s Claims After His Debut Performance For The Three Lions

England’s interim manager, Lee Carsley handed Chelsea star Noni Madueke his senior England debut yesterday in the Nations League win over Finland.

The Chelsea winger started his journey in the England’s senior team by earning his first cap on Tuesday evening.

Noni Madueke replaced Arsenal’s winger Bukayo Saka midway through the second half versus Finland, and he made an immediate impact on his Three Lions debut by assisting Kane’s second goal after a clever passage of play.

After the match Lee Carsley, the interim England manager, praised Chelsea’s Madueke after his impact on Tuesday night in the Nations League.

Interestingly, he commented that the Blues wide man adds something “different” to the side. It must help that the duo know each other well after previously working together in England’s Under-21s team.

“Noni has carried on where he left off at Chelsea. He is very attacking, very sharp. Different to what we have got, different kind of wide player,” Carsley said

“When you consider that Bukayo [Saka] had a run at the full-back for 60 odd minutes, Noni comes on and carries it on, so you wouldn’t want to be a defender playing against them two.”
