Enzo Maresca Decides New Role For Pedro Neto As Mudryk Smells Career Uncertainty

1 min read

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has now confirmed new role for new signing Pedro Neto ahead of Chelsea’s match against West Ham, having already played out of position in recent games.

The outlook is bleak for Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk as Enzo Maresca has explained why the Ukrainian has been used so sparingly this season.

Chelsea signed Neto this simmer from Wolves as their 10th signing of the season.

He has arrived to a great company of forwards in the Chelsea team. Despite having fast pace wingers like Mykhailo Mudryk and Christopher Nkunku, Madueke was surprised by the speed of Pedro Neto

Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca addressing the wealth of attacking talent at his disposal during a press conference on Friday, Maresca has revealed that…

He said: “Hopefully I can clarify. As a left winger, we have Jadon and Misha. On the right, we have Noni and Pedro. As a 10 we have Cole and Joao. As a nine we have Christoph and Nicolas.”

Alot of Chelsea fans have called for Neto’s position to change, with them seeing him as a far better outlet when featuring on the right of attack

So far the winger has seen his minutes come predominantly on the left of attack, with many at the club finding it very difficult to displace Noni Madueke from the starting side.
