Enzo Maresca Faces a huge injury blow as Chelsea injury list adds up with three starlet now involved despite featuring against Crystal Palace last weekend.
According to Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca after Chelsea’s draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday, he stated that Gusto had a little discomfort and was subbed off.
Right back Malo Gusto had limped off towards the end of the game appearing to clutch his hamstring, but the press conference came so soon after that Maresca didn’t have any further details, only noting that it appeared to be something “muscular”.
Moreover, Malo Gusto alongside his fellow countryman Wesley Fofana have both withdrawn from the French national team ahead of their European country game.
However, Chelsea player of the season Cole Palmer has become the latest Chelsea player to withdraw from international duty due to fitness and injury concerns, following Wesley Fofana and Malo Gusto.
Enzo Maresca hopes that James would be ready to go after the internationals were done, and he wouldn’t of been able to feature in the opening games of the season anyway due to a suspension carrying over from the previous campaign.
