Former Chelsea Star, Oscar Suggests Three Managers That Best Fit Blues’ Project

The Brazilian shared his thoughts after the sudden news of Mauricio Pochettino’s departure from the club on Tuesday night.

Chelsea parted ways with former PSG Boss, Pochettino after an unsuccessful season although they did finish on the 6th position.

Apparently, the club owners aren’t satisfied with the level of football the team played under Pochettino and have so therefore reached a mutual agreement and parted ways.

Blues are now back in the transfer market in search for a replacement and many names have already been linked to the club just hours after the departure of Pochettino.

Even former Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has also been linked to the club alongside Brighton’s De Zerbi but it’s unknown yet who the club will be going for as their past moves have all seemed premeditated.

Speaking after the sack, former Chelsea attacker, Oscar shared his thoughts on what he feels about the Chelsea project currently and who he thinks the club might most likely go for.

“We see they are going after something, we see they have a target, they have a high taste but just haven’t gotten the right manager to do it,” Oscar said.

“I feel sacking Tuchel was maybe a hasty decision that’s clearly not the best at the time but the mistake has been made and they have to quickly fix things. We know it hasn’t gone well for the club since then.

“Personally I think they have names they are already looking at, I mean it’s their call to make but I still think a manager like Hansi Flick can fit the project more, cause of how he was able to operate at Bayern Munich.

“It’s similar project we have now at Chelsea, Flick is a systematic person and seem more focused on team performance than new signings, I think he is good option.

“Another manager I see that can do a good job as well is Zinedine Zidane but I am a bit skeptical cause the English League is a different ball game but considering that Zidane focused more on team performance too. Maybe he is a good option.

“Allegri is also a good name in this discussion, I personally feel he can deliver if the club trusts him but hey it all boils down to what the club wants right? So we just have to watch and see what they bring to the table and who they onboard.”
