The ivorian winger was on song for Manchester United on Thursday, November 7, against PAOK in the Europa League. The Ivorian forward scored both goals as the Red Devils won 2-0, which, interestingly, was their first win in Europe this season.

After the game, Rio Ferdinand pointed out that Diallo had given a great Test for Ruben Amorim.

“I think it’s almost like an audition for him [Amad], almost in that no.10 role. It looks like he’s been playing mostly… he has been wide a little bit. I think out of a quiet bunch, he has probably been the best of them,” Ferdinand Says.

Amad Diallo has registered three goals and one assist from 15 games across competitions this season for Manchester United. Eight of those have been starts, with the 22-year-old battling Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho for a place in the team.
