Axel Disasi has quietly had a pretty steady first year in English football, too.
Blues centre-back Disasi, who earns ยฃ80,000-a-week, is one of the regular faces in defence this season.
Itโs interesting to hear from the player himself how heโs found the move to the Premier League.
Disasi has actually been upbeat and positive about his own individual form during this first season as a Chelsea player:
โI feel I have improved since the start of the season. With my English, my physicality, my mentality also. When I came here, I was curious how I would adapt to the Premier League and I think I have done well,โ Disasi said via Chelseaโs official website.
โIt takes time but that is the process, you know? The process is good and you have to keep pushing to improve again and again.
โI have enjoyed it a lot. It was something that I wanted, to play in England, so Iโm very happy and very proud to play here. I think that my adaptation has been good, I have played a lot of matches, and I feel more comfortable game by game with my team-mates.โ
We agree thereโs definitely been signs of improvement in Disasiโs game throughout the season as he grows more familiar in his surroundings
