The former Chelsea defender has expressed his dissatisfaction after seeing a player recently leaving the club.

Chelsea are set for several departures this window while they make space for new recruitments.

Some of these players leaving haven’t even had the chance to prove their worth but in a move Ashley Cole has labeled as “worse”, they will be leaving.

One of the several loved players who completed his permanent transfer move to Galatasary 3 days ago and the Blues aren’t done offloading.

Speaking on an interview, Ashley Cole has appeared very unhappy with the exit news of Omari Hutchinson who did very much impress on his loan spell to Ipswich.

The 20-year-old made 44 appearances and scored 10 times while providing 5 assists in the Championship. All expectations were Chelsea adding him to the starting 11 but it appears the Blues had other plans for him which includes an exit.

“A talent like that is hard to come by, he is young, energetic and very quick not just with his foot alone but also in his decision making,” Ashley Cole said.

“I never expected even in my wildest dream that we will be letting him go, I think this is Chelsea’s worse transfer mistake.

“We have to admit it, it’s not a good decision and I do not understand yet why the board made this decision but I hope we don’t regret it.”

Talks are positive and advancing between Ipswich and Chelsea over Omari Hutchinson. Should Ipswich sign him, he will be a club-record signing.
