Chelsea’s attackers once again shone in their team’s 3-0 win against West Ham United, but one defender also caught the eye.
Nicolas Jackson scored a first-half brace for Chelsea before Cole Palmer netted right after the restart.
During Chelsea’s impressive victory over West Ham earlier, England’s Legend Joe Cole who played for both Chelsea and Westham during his playing days, also highlighted Nicolas Jackson’s performance against the hammers.
Cole claimed that the Blues’ display reminded him of Liverpool’s famous previous attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
A clinical display from the Blues frontman with two well-taken goals early on to put his side in the ascendency.
Was superb again for Chelsea’s third as he orchestrated a counter-attack before slipping in Palmer to score.
Joe Cole on Nicolas Jackson performance Against Westham:
“I think Enzo Maresca saw they could break past West Ham and Nicolas Jackson is fantastic at that. It’s what he does.
[He has] good numbers. He is a young man, a young player, he’s learning his trade. People talked about Didier Drogba’s first two seasons when he wasn’t as prolific as he later became. Nevertheless, he has scored the goals and he will get better.
He needs to just keep improving, be a bit more composed and [gain] more confidence. He will bounce into the next game now. I am very, very pleased for him.”
