Jonathan David Hints Of Premier League Move Aimed Chelsea Interest

Chelsea Target Jonathan David has responded to reports linking him away from the French Ligue One this summer.

The Lille forward, in an exclusive interview proclaimed that he would welcome a move away from France if the right offers come in.

According to reports, Chelsea have started talks with the representatives of Jonathan David over a possible move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Footyvaild understands that the 24-year-old Canadian international is eager to seal a move away from Lille this summer.

The Canadian striker who has been on Chelsea’s radar for the last couple of years, has just over 12 months remaining on his contract at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

The blues are in the transfer market for another centre-forward to provide competition and support for senegalase striker Nicolas Jackson.

Jackson was Chelsea’s only natural striker option for large parts of last season under Mauricio Pochettino before his departure.

Though, there are a number of options on Chelsea’s radar but David is now being strongly considered to the the main man for this summer.

Speaking on speculations about Jonathan David, the 24-Year-Old responded saying….

“To be honest, I’m not really looking to be the headline player,”
