Chelsea exciting playmaker Cole Palmer has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for April and also Budweiser Goal of the Month.
Cole Palmer has been making waves of waves in the Premier League since his £45M summer switch from Manchester City, and now he also has for himself a spot on the shortlist for both the EA Sports Player and Hublot Young Player of the Season Awards.
Not bad for a lad who’s only been wearing the Blue since September.Since swapping Manchester City for Chelsea, Palmer’s been on fire, rattling in 21 league goals with three matches still to go.
Although the Blues have endured an indifferent campaign during 2023-24, meanwhile Cole Palmer isn’t moved by the accolades and he pushes for more awards.

And it’s not just about finding the back of the net – the lad’s got nine assists under his belt too, making it a grand total of 30 goal involvements in the Premier League. Not too bad for a 22-year-old, eh?
Meanwhile, Cole Palmer is the first Chelsea player in Premier League history to win both the Budweiser Goal of the Month and EA SPORTS Player of the Month awards in the same month.
Overall, he is one of only five players to achieve that feat, after Bruno Fernandes in June 2020, Jesse Lingard in April 2021, Mohamed Salah in October 2021 and Miguel Almiron in October 2022.
It is the first time a Chelsea player has won the award since Eden Hazard did so in April 2019 for his solo effort against West Ham United.
