Manchester United have confirmed the exit of young Portuguese full back, Alvaro Fernandez.
It’s reported that Portuguese giants, benfica have now activated an option from that agreement to sign Fernandez permanently in a โฌ6million (ยฃ5.1m) deal plus an additional โฌ3m (ยฃ2.6m) in potential add-ons.

The youngstar spent the first half of the season on loan at La Liga club Granada, where he made just five starts and featured in 473 minutes of league action.
Meanwhile, the 21-Year-Old has made 13 appearances for Benfica since joining on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese defender is one of eight members of Unitedโs first-team squad currently out on loan at other clubs alongside the likes of Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek and Hannibal Mejbri.
