With a really poor start to the new Premier League season, new Manchester United CEO, Omar Berrada, has recently spoken out about the future of Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Towards the end of last season there was an expectation that ten Hag would be leaving the managerial seat at United after leading the club to their worst league finish since 1990, finishing eighth overall.
Other successful managers such as Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank, Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel were all shortlist to potentially replace the Dutchman, however INEOS decided to stand by ten Hag and went even further to show their support by extending his contract by an extra year.
Meanwhile, with the recent rocky start to the new season, speculation of the Dutchman’s future is already starting to rear it’s ugly head once more.
The Red Devils have won just one out of their first three premier League matches this season and the recent lose is a 3-0 lose to Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Moreover United’s new CEO Omar Berrada was asked about Erik Ten Hag’s Future At the club after a shaky start to the new season.
He stated… “We’re very happy with that decision [to give Ten Hag a new contract],”
“Erik has our full backing and we’ve worked very closely together in this transfer window.
We’re going to continue working very closely with him to help him get the best results out of the team.
