Fernandes has been a key player for the Red Devils in recent years, becoming a creative spark and goalscoring option in the middle of the park.
The Portuguese international is undoubtedly one of Erik ten Hag’s most important stars, so keeping him at Old Trafford will be crucial.
Fernandes has been at Man United since January 2020 when he joined from Sporting CP for a reported fee of £67.6 million.
The terms of his new deal will take him into the top pay bracket with Marcus Rashford, Casemiro and Jadon Sancho.
He has since made an impressive 234 appearances across all competitions for the club, becoming an integral part of the team.
