Manchester United’s Second Offer For Erik Ten Hag’s Transfer Target Has Been Rejected

Manchester United have been handed a huge transfer blow again, according to reports Everton have rejected the Red Devil’s second offer for defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

Manchester United offered Everton ยฃ45million plus ยฃ5m in add-ons, having had a ยฃ43m bid turned down last month.

It’s understood that in May 2024ย  the English 22-Year-Old, is valued at between ยฃ70m and ยฃ80m by parent Club Everton.

United feel that is unrealistic yet Everton have cited the fees paid for Harry Maguire (ยฃ80m), Wesley Fofana (ยฃ75m) and Josko Gvardiol (ยฃ77.6m) in the past five years to justify their valuation.

Everton are expected to dig their heels in over Branthwaite as they do not want to sell the centre half and recently sold players to comply with the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules.

Everton received ยฃ20m from the sales of Ben Godfrey and Lewis Dobbin.
