The blues managed to get the better of West Ham United on Saturday lunchtime in what was a ruthless display from Enzo Maresca’s men.
Nicolas Jackson was the star in the first-half as he grabbed a brace to put the Blues 2-0 up before Cole Palmer scored the blues 3rd goal to wrap up the blues victory.
After the 3-0 win at the London Stadium, Nicolas Jackson talked to the media about how he tends to improve under Enzo Maresca.
“Growing higher with my team-mates, they help me a lot and they have confidence in me.
“We keep going. This one is finished and next week we go onto another one.
“The most important thing is for the team to win.
“I am happy to play always. To fight for the team and the team to win is the most important thing.”
The Senegalese Striker’s stats don’t really tell the story of how well he played.
He had a part to play in every goal for the Blues with his two goals and an assist before being substituted off around the 60th minute mark.
The striker had just 30 touches, two shots on target, a passing accuracy of 82%, made two key passes, created one big chance, won one of his four duels, one clearance and one interception.
