He added, “Kobbie Mainoo is an exceptional talent. His ability to control the game and make the team play football is reminiscent of Toni Kroos and Rodri. Having him on the field can free up players like Jude Bellingham to excel further”
However, Scholes indicated a preference for Palmer over Mainoo, stating, “While both are incredible talents, if I had to choose one to start, I’d go with Cole Palmer. His consistent goal involvement and ability to perform in crucial moments give him the edge for me”
