Sir Alex Ferguson Makes Huge Ollie Watkins Recommendations Following Hojlund’s Slow Development At Old Trafford

Ex Manchester United Legendary Coach Sir Alex Ferguson has suggested England and Villa’s 28-Year-Old striker Ollie Watkins to the United board ahead of summer transfer window.

Manchester United have been tipped to make a surprise swap deal for the England international, who scored 19 Premier League goals as Villa secured fourth spot.

The Red Devils will be in the market to secure a crucial move for a striker after confirming the exit of French striker Antony Martial, and according to club insiders it’s said that Alex Ferguson has suggested that Ollie Watkins should be considered by the board.

It’s unclear wether the 28-year-old is keen on a move, but the Reds will try to convince him though they’ll be facing much challenge if they fail to secure an European spot, having already finished 8th in the premier League while Villa finished 4th and qualifying for the champions League with Ollie Watkins being the main man.

Though Man United still have the chance to qualify for the Europa League only if they can beat the Pep Guardiola’s side in the FA Cup finals at Wembley.

However, speaking about his personal ambitions, Watkins said he is keen on playing in the Champions League:

โ€œWe have been tremendous all season โ€“ very consistent โ€“ and we finished where we deserved โ€“ with Champions League football coming to Villa Park. Next year will be very special.

What happened at Palace was poor โ€“ individually and collectively โ€“ but this doesnโ€™t tell the story of our season. Weโ€™ve been great all year.โ€
