Incoming Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim will have a lot on his plate once he joins the club on November 11 as seen from the team’s chaotic display in front of goal this season especially against Chelsea in their last match.
The Man Uniteds forwards are lacking any real confidence while the team’s mentality yet again let them down once they had taken the lead. And the lack of a discernible style of play is also quite concerning.
Man United are expected to be in the market for a good attacker that can get goals for the team as soon as Amorim takes over.
Moreover, Swedish striker Gyokeres, who was firmly on the radar of a number of top European clubs in the summer including Arsenal and Chelsea, is among the most enticing possible signings, but it appears as though he has already ruled out making the move to Old Trafford
It’s said that, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres will not join Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.
Gyokeres has built a reputation as one of the continent’s most impressive goalscorers after netting 20 goals in just 16 appearances already this season.
He found the back of the net 43 times last year while featuring in 50 games for Sporting.
It’s believed that the striker will not follow Amorim, who initially gave him his big break after stealing the 26-year-old away from Coventry City in 2023.
