England legend and former Manchester United’s player Wayne Rooney, who’s currently the manager at Plymouth Argyle, has issued out his verdict on three England’s NO.10’s.
The English legend claimed that the best player in England is neither Chelsea’s Cole Palmer nor Real Madrid star Man Jude Bellingham.
While acknowledging what Bellingham and Palmer have done for their respective clubs, Rooney insisted that Phil Foden is currently England’s best player. The former Manchester United striker said
Wayne Rooney: “I think Cole Palmer has been sensational last season and the start of this season.
Jude Bellingham is doing amazing at Real Madrid. But Foden, for me, is the one I really enjoy watching.”
Phil Foden!!!… I know he hasn’t played much this season at Manchester City, but at his best, he’s the best footballer in England,” Rooney said…
Moreover, Carsley, England’s interim coach, will have to decide which of the three players to leave out now that they are all available—Bellingham missed the last two matches due to injury.
Palmer was the one sacrificed in the Euros, where he mostly came off the bench, including in the final, where he scored the equalizer against Spain.
