Soon-to-be Chelsea player Estêvão shines with goals and assists, and Palmeiras beats Cuiabá for the Brasileirão.

The Brazilian wonderkid got a maiden call up to the Brazil national just few days ago after his performance in the Brasileirão division since his first team debut.

It was a memorable night for Palmeiras, which surpassed Cuiabá with an impressive 5-0 victory at the Brinco de Ouro da Princesa Stadium in Campinas, São Paulo.

The highlight of the match was Chelsea ace Estévão, who scored two goals. Under the guidance of coach Abel Ferreira, Verdão now occupies the third position in the Brazilian Championship of Series A.

Meanwhile, after Estevão’s performance against Cuiaba, the sensational winger has equalled Neymar Jr’s number during his time in Brazil league.

Estêvão Willian becomes the first player to have at least 13 G/A in a single Brasileirão campaign before turning 18 years old since… NEYMAR in 2009.

Willian Estevão also proven to do more than Brazil icon, Neymar Jr. Infact His agent believes he is better than Neymar

Speaking about Estevao’s potential earlier this month, his representative Andre Cury said that the 17-year-old is performing at a higher level than Neymar at the same stage of his development:

“He has quality, talent, speed, change of direction, intelligence. In fact, if you take Neymar to his age, he’s above what Neymar was.

At 17, Estevao plays better than Neymar did at 17. We’ll only know if he’ll reach the same peak as Neymar over time.”
