According to reports, Manchester United are in contact with the representatives of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as they eye potential replacements for Marcus Rashford who’s been forced out of the club.
During the summer transfer window, there was a hell of alot of transfer speculation that Chelsea were working hard to try and get Osimhen all signed up, that he was a player the club really wanted to sign after he revealed he wanted out of Napoli.
But despite all the potential rumours, the Premier League clubs did not want to pay his massive asking price and in the end, they missed out on getting the big Nigerian star and he eventually made his way to Galatasaray.
Osimhen, has been nothing short of sensational since joining Galatasaray on loan. The Nigerian is playing like a man who is determined to show Europe’s elite that they were wrong not to accept his demands in the summer.
Meanwhile, as it’s stand the the Nigeria striker is keen on a move to Old Trafford in January and the Red Devils are eager to pay his £75M release Club and secure his services as Ruben Amorim looks to rebuild his team in no time since talking over.
Adding a striker is a top priority, but so should that defence because the Red Devils are leaking far too many goals right now and that needs to be improved.
