Having already signed Portuguese defender Renato Veiga from Chelsea during the January transfer window, Juventus are now in discussions about bringing in another Blues player.
Italian giants Juventus, who currently sit fifth in the Serie A table, recently completed the signing of Renato Veiga on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season.
According to reports, Juventus are now in discussions with Chelsea about signing Chelsea Midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, after failing to hit the mark under new manager Enzo Maresca.
It is understood that the Blues would prefer to sell the 21-year-old attacking midfielder, but they could be open to allowing him to leave on loan until the end of the season.
The report adds that Premier League side West Ham expressed interest in Chelsea’s Chukwuemeka in January. However, the Hammers are not expected to step up their interest with a move in the final days of the mid-season window.
It’ll be interesting to see if Juventus can land their second player from Stamford Bridge in such a short space of time.
Meanwhile, the Italian outfit will face plenty of competition to sign Chelsea youngster Chukwuemeka, who could cost £40m to sign permanently.
There’s no doubt that the English playmaker needs to try find a transfer exit before the deadline on 3 February.
