Chelsea Ends Another Striker’s Interest As Club Names 3 New Alternatives

Chelsea have been dealt a blow after long term transfer target Mathys Tel changed his mind and decided to stay at Bayern Munich according to reports by English media.

The January window is now into the final few days, and this is usually the stage where things start to heat up in regards to transfers.

It’s no secret that the blues are looking to bring in one or two new faces before Monday’s deadline day, with attack and midfield areas they are targeting.

But as it stands, French striker Mathys Tel is longer considered to be on Chelsea rader. Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are now in talks with the young striker over a possibly January switch to the premier League.

Meanwhile, Chelsea board have identified fresh alternatives for the striking department, with Nicolas Jackson and Nkunku failing to fill the blanks.

Footyvalid understands that Chelsea have a list of strikers they are making checks on… And it includes: Evan Ferguson, Liam Delap, Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko according to reports.

It is unclear whether or not Delap, Gyokeres or Sesko could be allowed to leave their clubs this month.

Only Ferguson could be allowed to leave Brighton, but they are unlikely to sanction a loan to Chelsea, which means the Blues would have to sign him permanently.

The Brighton striker, 20, is expected to be given the green light to move on before next week, although it remains to be seen if such a move will be permanent or a loan.
